This book planner gives you a single space to develop your ideas, organise and refer to research, and flesh out your characters. Throw in a task list and an ideas notepad to keep you from having to leave an active workspace to make notes elsewhere - and you have a much more efficient way to keep whatever book you are working on moving forward with fewer interruptions.

The design is minimalist, keeping the focus on the work within but, of course, this is Notion-based so you can 'decorate' any way you like.

Planning Pages

• Blurb/Description: what would be on the back cover of this book? When someone asks what the book is about - this is the answer*
• Research & Background Database: Everything happens somewhere. This is where to collect the details on the places where the action happens. This database uses a new topic template to help keep notes organised and structured.
• Locations Database: where the action happens, the characters live, the places that matter and set the scene. Linked to the character database.
• Characters/People Database: flesh out the players in your story - who they are, where they live (this database is linked to the Locations Database), what they do and what they care about.*
• Ideas Notebook: collect story strands, scribble down ideas, anything you’d find on a post-it note. Once those ideas develop into something more robust, turn them into pages for further development.

Outline Area: This set of toggles is a great way to map out the path you want the book to follow, one section or chapter at a time. Make notes, link to existing pages - either within Notion or elsewhere. And if you need more chapters or sections, just add more toggles! And there are notes on adapting the outline function to a variety of plotting methods, making it even more flexible.

And being a Notion template, it's easy to customise and adjust to suit your own personal way of working.

After purchase, you get a direct link to the template that you can duplicate. Simply click duplicate on the top right corner of the screen. If you don't already have a Notion account then you will need to sign up to the free membership of Notion.

Is there a Refund Policy?

We cannot offer refunds for Notion templates. Once shared, they cannot be returned due to their digital nature.
